Channel 5 gets ‘Gotham’ for the UK
UK television network Channel 5 announced yesterday that they will be airing ‘Gotham’ on their channel for the UK audience. Channel 5 have only stated that it will air in Autumn so there is no confirmed date or time slot for the show.
I am surprised to see that Channel 5 have got the rights to such a high profile show from the US because FOX ordered the series and I assumed FOX UK would have the show. Perhaps FOX thought that it would not be received as well over here (the UK) and decided to sell the show off to another network. I’m sure the UK audience won’t care who has it as long as the airing time between the US and UK isn’t long.
FOX will premiere the show in the US on September 22nd.
